Hey guys, Homecoming this year is Oct 11th. We have Centennial Valley rented out and will look to book a block of rooms in a local hotel and have a shuttle run by chapter members to run us back and forth. Please let us know of anything special you want to do this year. Reply to this

I am talking about a Phi Sig Float.... It can involve either the undergrads, the alumni or both. But I think it is a great idea! Reply to this

A float is a good idea. Realize that members and alumni will be involved early the morning of Homecoming with the Komen race. Reply to this

If the Komen race is on the same day as Homecoming then I strongly question chapter participation. Undergraduates and Alumni for that matter belong on campus where the action is. Reply to this

Won't the Komen race be over early in the morning? I haven't been in a few years, but I think everyone could be back on campus before 11:00. If there will be a float then I can see the members being there to finish it and prepare for the parade. I think the Komen race will be mostly alumni anyway. Reply to this

The race will be over fairly early. If they do build a float, the members will probably need to be in Conway for the parade. If they don't, they can come down to join the alumni at the race. Reply to this

Jason, are you talking about an alumni float, a phi sig float, or a combination of the two?
